Neil Kothari is a Canadian and UK-qualified lawyer with over two decades of experience advising on complex legal and financial matters across corporate law, securities regulation, derivatives, and digital assets. His practice focuses on high-value, cross-border transactions and regulatory strategy for clients in sectors including fintech, private capital, and emerging technology.

Neil has provided legal and strategic counsel to leading blockchain and Web3 ventures, family offices, and institutional investors. His experience includes advising one of the largest ICO recipients in history, structuring credit and lending platforms built on blockchain infrastructure, and coordinating with international counsel on compliance with securities and derivatives regulations. He has acted as fractional general counsel, CLO, and legal advisor across a range of innovative projects involving tokenization, DeFi, and traditional finance convergence.

Prior to private practice, Neil held senior roles at RBC and TD Bank, and practiced structured finance and derivatives law at Sidley Austin LLP in London. He also advised on high-profile securities and financing transactions at Nortel and Blakes.
